Guillermo De Hoyos is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. He graduated from Sul Ross State University. Guillermo obtained a Master’s of education in counseling. In addition, Guillermo is fluent in Spanish and provides bilingual counseling. He is a therapist for the IOP and PHP program. Guillermo cultivates a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere in order to empower clients. His approach in therapy is genuine and non-judgmental. He works with adults who present an array of mental health issues. Including complex trauma and addictions. His style of therapy is collaborative and mutual. Guillermo incorporates evidence based modalities, he is EMDR trained, and is trauma informed. Several clients have benefited from his style of therapy and were able to take courageous steps towards healing. Guillermo enjoys a good read at his favorite coffee shop. In his free time he writes poetry and loves to recite poems at open mic events. He loves to exercise at local parks and enjoys nature walks.
